The largest investment in leisure facilities was made to redevelop Graves Leisure Centre situated in the heart of Sheffield. A total of £16 Million was invested, the full glazing package was £305,000.
Sir Andrew Cash, Chief Executive for Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Chair of the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine, said: “Seeing the vision come together in bricks and mortar is very satisfying. Physical activity must become part of everybody’s daily living.”
As part of the specification, fire rated profiles were installed. We worked closely with BAM Construction (Main Contractors) to ensure full compliance had been adhered. At Trent Valley Architectural Glazing, we understand that previsions need to be made to both, ascetics and functionality, where our aim on every project is to deliver a high quality product on time and within budget.
Kevin Longmire – Architectural Glazing Manager, notes “As Graves Leisure Centre is a high traffic resource used by members of the public we needed to provide a glazing solution that was functional and would stand the test of time. Working closely with our supply chain partners and understanding the project specification is vital when working on projects of any size and type”.
